People go to church for many reasons:

Tradition - Curiosity - Friendship!

But in the end we come because God has made us part of his family. So we want to grow in our friendship with God and our church family.

Here's what a couple of our members say about why they come:

Kim: I didn't grow up in a Christian home. But when I became a Christian as an adult, I started attending the church here. I feel at home here and I'm constantly learning more about how to live the Christian life.

James: A great thing about church at Kurrajong is the opportunity to worship and learn about God in a way that is relevant to our daily lives. The people are committed to living God's way and caring for each other. The church meeting is also a great place to take a very sociable one year-old!

No! Churches would be empty if that WERE true.

In fact, from the time Jesus mixed with the poor and unloved, God's family has been made up of all ages, races and backgrounds.

We haven't got it all together at church! We laugh, cry and struggle like everyone else. But we are living proof that God welcomes all who trust in him, no matter how we fall short.

Through the death of his Son, Jesus, on the cross, God offers us all a fresh start. We meet together on the basis of this message.
