I played chicken with a steam train when I was about 6 years old...and lived to tell the story!!!
The last book I just finished reading was an old Desmond Bagley novel.
Technician with the then Postmaster General's Department...alias Telecom, alias Telstra. I started there when I left school at the age of 16.
I don't currently watch TV, there are more than enough interesting things that I can find to do! Nevertheless, the show I most enjoyed was 'Get Smart' because it was thoroughly funny and also never or rarely used crude double meanings or innuendo which seems to be the hallmark of much current 'comedy'.
I can't think of any embarrassing moments beyond the complete blank when trying to recall a person's name when they've just introduced themselves to me! So if I don't use your name when I'm talking to you, please be kind to me and occasionally use your name during the conversation!!!
People who live consistent, practical lives… you can see them grow in their faith and their words ring true.
