Something people don’t know about you is...?

I am an identical twin, so consequently answer to two names - Bruce or Brian. I thank God for being born into a Christian family. There never has been a time when I did not have a relationship with God through Christ, although at age 12 I made a public confession. It would be difficult for me to understand life without Jesus, other than perhaps it would seem to have no purpose.

What are you currently reading?

I have just finished a book titled “This Present Darkness” and currently reading the sequel “Piercing the Darkness” by Frank Peretti. These books are fiction and suggest they only be read by mature persons. They look at the quest for inner peace, which exposes the most frightening war of all: the battle for the human soul.

Your first paying job was...?

Apprentice fitter and machinist / tool maker, when there were five year apprenticeships.

Your favourite TV show is ...? Why?

Murder mystery (Who done it?) eg Morse, Columbo, etc. Because of the interaction in solving the crime and seeing the true culprit brought to justice.

If you could be anything (occupation) what would you be?

Builder / carpenter.

An embarrassing thing that has happened to you is...?

Being mistaken for my twin brother, who has just recently married for the first time, giving people the idea that I had been widowed/divorced from Carol.

Who inspires you?

Billy Graham’s life and ministry. Dr Paul White (jungle doctor) - missionary to Tanzania.

If you could do one thing in heaven that you do on earth, what would it be?

Being busy at a relaxed rate.
